NYC Vegetarian Food Festival.

Sofrito Lovers,

If I, a life-long omnivore, can support a vegetarian food festival, then so can you!  Enough with the preconceived and antiquated notions that vegetarian food is unappetizing and flavorless-nothing can be further from the truth.  I think it's time you tried the fantastic fare at the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival.

Listen, I am not going to oversell this!  You can read the description below and check out the website for all the details.  What I will say is that the last time I attended this festival, I found the food to be AMAZE-BALLS.  It was well-seasoned, delicious, and intriguing.  I ate, and enjoyed, jack fruit there for the first time and discovered the world of flavored tofu.  It was a game-changer!

The cooking demonstrations were entertaining, hilarious, and surprisingly informative.  Learning that certain food combinations can help fight cancer and assist in weight loss was interesting, especially since the information was backed by medical science.

Give it a try, already!  You'll love it, I promise!  Go taste for yourself!  ¡Buen Provecho!
